Thought I'd arrive at lunchtime rather than have an early morning session so I could get a few hours on the new demo kit but there was sod all wind when I arrived at half 1. A few people were out not doing much so I oood and aaad for an hour or so whilst looking at all the new kit and ventured down to the waters edge to see what kit was available. Got on a 5.8 with a Mistral Joker and stepped into the water. The wind had suddenly dropped from just over to 10mph to hardly a breath. Stood on the board and attempted to sail a few metres and then thought better of it before I got thoroughly wet and came back in frustrated. Got my legs wet so decided to wait around for a few hours hoping the wind would fill back in but it didn't so called it a day. I went back home pissed of that I didn't sail and pissed of for accidentally breaking someones wing mirror the day before which is gonna cost a fair bit. Just wish I had come down first thing when Steve and Al were out blasting along on there 5 metre sails. windsurfing can be a frustrating sport!
